INTRO

 

The retreat is open to all persons interested in regenerative and healing expression in a magical environment. Singles, couples and groups of friends are welcome to enjoy the benefits of Yoga, Massage and healthy Food. In our ‘Take a Breath’ retreat you will spend an incredible long week-end exploring the benefits of daily Yoga and Meditation, an introductory course to Ayurvedic Yoga Massage with essential oils and stretches based on Yoga, and delicious & healthy Food. You will discover new tools and skills that you can bring back home and easily integrate within your daily life. All this in the middle of the wood of Can Ros.

We are here to support you and introduce you to the most amazing and spiritual experiences that Ibiza offers. You will discover all the things that make Ibiza truly a unique and uplifting experience, like watching a breathtaking sunset, enjoy the silence of the wood, feel the magnetic draw of Es Vedra, take a dip in the cleansing sea of the island. 

 

YOGA

 

The retreat offers two Yoga sessions/a day, to discover how balancing the energy between your body and your mind.
No matter your preparation level, everybody can enjoy the classes because each asana will be adapted to your own capacity.
So free your mind and find out what your body can do by practising Yoga.

 

AYURVEDIC YOGA MASSAGE 

 

An integrative manual treatment that combines Indian Oil Massage with Stretch Therapy based on Yoga of B.K.S.Iyengar.
In this introductory massage course you will get familiar with body touch and you will receive and will learn how to give a basic massage to the full body. 

 

CHEFS and FOOD 

 

Food will be an essential element of your stay and not just an additional aspect of your vacation: tasty, healthy and honest meals will be the fuel that give you the energy to enjoy your days. Our Chefs built their skills in years of hard work through international high standard quality restaurants and 5 Stars Luxury Hotels, building a rigorous and dedicated approach to cuisine. In the last years their attention has moved from ‘cooking’ to ‘feeding’: the focus is on a conscious, sustainable and healthier approach to food through a seasonal, unprocessed and plant base cuisine. From rediscovering old Mediterranean tradition and experiencing new tastes, Marina and Alessandro will use the best techniques to keep the nutritional properties and nurture the natural and genuine taste of food. 

 

YOGA PRACTICE with Elena

 

Each day we will run two Yoga sessions: a Yin Yoga Class to wake up your body and relax your mind and a Vinyasa Yoga Class to create energy moving your body to find how can be peaceful your mind.

- Vinyasa Flow is an energetic yoga style, through which you can improve strength, flexibility and balance. Poses follow a continuous flow of breath and movement, that turns into a real meditation in motion.

 

- Yin Yoga is a simple and intense practice, where poses are kept for a while; practising it, you will learn to deeply relax the body, calming emotions and stimulating organs vital energy.

 

AYURVEDIC YOGA MASSAGE with Naseem  

 

These workshop introduce the Ayurvedic Yoga Massage technique as created and developed by the master Kusum Modak through the fusion of Indian discipline in Deep Tissue Oil Massage in combination with her long practice of Yoga directly with B.K.S. Iyengar. The training alternates between slow deep oil massage techniques and different stretches for the opening and re- alignment of the spine and all joints. This results in a sense of openness and awareness, and promotes greater mobility and relaxation to the entire body. Naseem's professional experience in Dance will guide you to perform your massage with comfortable and safe positions and a sense of fluidity, rhythm and care of movements will allow your massage to become a healing dance. 

 

FOOD EXPERIENCE with Marina and Alessandro 

 

The old saying: we are what we eat, is true. Every cell in our body was created from the food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe. In addition to nourishing our bodies, food also affects the quality of our lives, our appearance, moods, weight, energy, the aging process and our overall health and well-being. 

Our Chefs start from the deep belief that good food habits, together with regular sport activity and meditation are the three essential elements that can help to assure a healthy and joyful life. They emphasize the idea of creating life that feels good on the inside, not one that just looks good on the outside. To work in this direction they believe in nutrition education: based on a constant and genuine approach to food, far from drastic diets and extreme dangerous methods. One of the main aim is to introduce our guest’s into a healthy nutrition capable of rebalancing the body and boosting its ability to restore itself with a plant base cuisine. The center of this approach excludes highly refined and processed food and is focused on whole and unrefined products such as fruits, vegetables, tubers, whole grains, legumes, nuts, fresh herbs.

 

ACCOMODATION

 

Finca Can Ros is a large finca located high up on a hill side a short drive from the town of Sant Joan. The property boasts several terraces and patio areas and a large terraced garden with plenty of fruit trees, as well as a solar heated swimming pool, chill out areas and pergolas from which you can enjoy the spectacular views. Accommodation is in cool and comfortable ibicencan style rooms. The rooms type are single/double/triple, depending on requests.
Rooms are fully furnished: AC unit in every room (except triple), towels included, free wi-fi. 

Set up in the wood the villa offers a peaceful environment as your base to explore the wonders of Ibiza, in a location that is easily accessible to many beaches, towns, and markets.
Swimming pool, lush gardens, and many seating areas set in the grounds of a beautiful villa. 

Finca Can Ros is conveniently located in the core of north Ibiza, up the hill, overlooking the beautiful country. Away from the noises of the main roads and at the same time close to all amenities you need; it's the perfect location to enjoy your stay in Ibiza. NASEEM ROBERTO BAFFA 

Naseem Roberto Baffa is an International bodywork therapist and coach, Reiki Master, performer and dance teacher. Naseem Roberto was born in Milan, Italy, honour graduated in Philosophy, a professional dancer, dance teacher and choreographer for twenty five years. He also practices Yoga, Reiki and Meditation and for the past 22 years he spends part of the year living in India. In 2001 Naseem studied with the renowned master Kusum Modak in Pune, India, specializing in Ayurvedic Yoga Massage. Since 2012 Naseem is based in Ibiza and spends the winters in Goa, he now devotes time to healing arts, dance and and meditation and travels regularly to specific destinations to provide massage treatments and share healing and dance workshops in Europe and India.

ELENA 

Elena was born in a small village in the north of Italy. She studied classical and contemporary dance for more than ten years and became a Registered Yoga Alliance Teacher (RYT® 200) on February 2015.

On April 2016 she has opened her own studio 2MOVE in Menorca with her partner where she teaches regularly every day.

She is a revolutionary. She owns those energy and strength, proper of those people able to start their life from zero at any time.  

Yoga is her passion, is a lifestyle that is reflected in everything she does.

She believes Yoga is a way to bring people together, share experiences, knowledge and create a change. Overall become better humans.

 

MARINA

Marina is an international cook: inquisitive and dynamic woman always ready to face new challenges with grit and enthusiasm. She was born in Milan, Italy. Before focusing all her attention on gastronomy and hospitality, she graduated in “Media Languages. Cultural Events - Festival of performative and medial arts”. Her academic education and her professional experiences has allowed her to work in different and versatile cultural environments. Gastronomy, from rediscovering old Mediterranean traditions and experiencing new plates and tastes, has always been a great passion of her.  In the last few years her dedication is focused on a plant-based cuisine that enhances the essential importance of healthier dietary habits in our lives. She met Alessandro in the kitchen of Principe di Savoia Hotel in Milan some years ago and decided to share her personal and professional path with him.

 

ALESSANDRO

Alessandro is an international cook with a holistic understanding of the restaurant, inside the kitchen, and on the floor. He is an energetic, dynamic person, always ready to face new working challenges, with enthusiasm and dedication. He had an aptitude for cooking was since he was a child: as the son of restaurateur parents, he grew up in the kitchen. Aiming for not only technical, but also eclectic growth, based on strong Italian cooking fundamentals, he alternated between a wide range of restaurants - from little realities, to well established 5 stars Luxury Resorts. This created a solid foundation, that allowed him to be more flexible and team work oriented. Going hand in hand with his dedication to cooking, he developed a deep interest for art: from painting to sculpture, from performance to installation. He strongly believe that he have succeed in excelling in the most inspired and versatile aspect of culinary arts, making it not only a job but a real passion. He met Marina in the kitchen of Principe di Savoia Hotel in Milan some years ago and decided to share his personal and professional path with her.

Daily ferries arrives to Ibiza from Barcelona, Valencia and Denia.

Direct airport transfer is the easiest option to get to Can Ros. Transfers can be arranged with us before your travel, and someone will be waiting for you at the airport or at the port. If you would like to arrange this service, please mention at the time of booking.
